SDK for Polycom CX300

We are Office PBX developers and our customer want to use Polycom CX300 phones with our system. We have CTI software for windows and softphone, and we ready to implement support of CX300 headsets, but we can't find SDK or any protocol specifications. Please provide SDK/demos and protocol specification for developers.

A couple questions about CCX model phones

 

Is there a model of CCX phone that is supported by Microsoft Teams as well as open SIP? What is the model number?

 

Is there a CCX phone that supports wireless? Is a wireless adapter? What is the part number?

 

VVX 150 Obi (Google Voice) - Reboot / Reset after Settings Update

I've had a VVX 150 linked with Google Voice for about a year now. Earlier this week I got the password from Google so I could get into the settings to program the Soft Keys

Currently the Home settings are 

redial,,,

I was able to get it set to 

redial,dnd,,

and

redial,dnd,sd;label=name;number=5615551212    - example number

I then rebooted the phone and all was good - 

However after about 2 minutes the phone rebooted on it's own and reset back to 

redail,,,

 

Google as asked me to check if this is something in the Polycomm system or not - so I'm reaching out to the community

 

Also I was able to add a number / name to the Speed Dials list via the web portal and that stayed in the system but I can't find how to access that via the phone

Cannot access the Web Server on my VVX 410 (not an obvious question)

For the sake of me I cannot get my browser to access the Web Server of my VVX 410:

  • In "Advanced settings>Web Server Configuration" on the phone, Web Server is Enabled and Web Config Mode is set to HTTP/HTTPS.
  • I can ping the phone IP alright, but when I hit it with a browser in HTTP the connection is refused, and in HTTPS I get "The document requested was not found on this server".
  • The only thing that I can think of that could cause a problem is the central provisioning, but in the VVX 410 Administrator's Guide, it clearly states that the Web Configuration Changes overrides Provisioning Server, and that the manual settings on the phone are supposed to override everything else.
  • But could the Provisioning Server disable the local Web Server of the phone even though it is set as enabled in the advanced config?
  • Or is it something else entirely?

Note that I cannot reset the phone to Factory default until I can back up the current config, and to back up the current config I believe I need access to the web server!!!
This drives me mad. Please help!

VVX301 not connecting when connected to main network

Hi,

 

We've got a number of Polycom phones in our office, a mix of VVX301 and VVX411. We had a change in router the other week which knocked 4 of the 5 Polycom Phones off the network.

I managed to get one back on by assigning a new IP Address.

I've also managed to get 2 of them back online by using a POE Injector.

The final phone that is not working, has not worked with either of these solutions. I have tested on a network outside of the office and it all works. I've also tested on a separate network that routes through our router and this works and can make calls.

Anyone any ideas on how to fix this?

VVX 410 Update Failure

Trying to update VVX 410 and all updates are failing. The phones appear to go through the process but it does not update when I can finally access the phone's web UI: The software versions are below:

UC Software Version5.9.0.9373
Updater Version5.9.7.11143

 

I can confirm that this is not a firewall issue as we are allowing the appropriate traffic through. Do I have to update one version at a time? What can I check?

Web Application SDK link broken

Hello

 

It seems all download links to the VVX Web Application SDK has disappeared.

 

The UCS Version 5.3 was the latest version I could find:

Polycom Trio 8500 unable to get IP address

Firmware version: 5.9.4.7038

MAC address: 64:16:7F:9E:7B:C6

 

Hello, we have a Polycom Trio 8500 that just cannot grab an IP address. I have tried manually giving it an address but once it reboots it goes back to 0.0.0.0. I have updated the firmware, and tried some solutions from the previous thread that had the same issue but in my case it did not work. 

 

Is there anything I am missing here?

Polycom Trio 8500 Zoom Room certificate issue

We are trying to use 8500 as a Zoom Rooms Controller, but we are getting a Security Warning: Untrusted Server Certificate (attached a pic).

 

Software version is: 5.9.4.7038, freshly upgraded.

 

Zoom list their root certificates here - the main one is already in UC, but not the intermediate one: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360044092031-Conference-Room-Connector-TLS-Certificates

 

Is it possible that this is the issue? If so, how do we install the intermediate certificate? The instructions found online are extremely difficult to understand. For example here:

It's not clear for us what the application profile and how it releates to the Zoom Rooms mode on the phone.

Poly Trio 8800 Corporate Dictionary with Windows AD - Try again

Hey there,

 

i use an trio 8800 with the uc-version 5.9.4.7038.

The SIP Account will work perfectly, but the connection to our ldap-server is bringing me to the hell

 

Here are my configs:

The user is correctly, tested.

But if i will be push it to the phone, it gives me an error:

"Please try again"... i tried it ... like 500 times

I tried it with another user, with TLS and 636, tried it with user "domain/ldapuser" and something other.

 

Can someone give me a hint or the working config file from your phone? (without correctly names :D)

 

I also activated the logs on my windows server 2016 for the active directory. There are no logs, where i can find the phone is trying to login. So i think, my problem is at the phone.

C60 not updating Zoom Rooms Client

Hi,

I have a number of new C60 units all of which arrived with ZR client v5.0. This is no longer a supported zoom controller version but I am unable to update the client. Have setup the provisioning server as trio.zoom.us but nothing happens. Devices are currently running UC Software Version 5.9.4.6847

Anyone any ideas? Units are useless until I can get the client to actually update.

Hunt Group Limitations Question in VVX D230

Hey Steffen, I have gone through the install guide, data sheet, tech spec, tech guide and new firmware guide but havent found the answer to my question yet and it is holding me back from a bulk purchase.

Reference: using Asterisk

 

After doing a large deployment of Yealink D60s in which they claim 8 lines 8 simultaneous calls we come to find out that the D60 Base Station has a limitation of only 4 lines "inbound" will ring simultaneously in a simple huntgroup the other 4 send a reject notice.

 

So before I go hog wild with replacing all of these with VVX D230's I need to know if support can confirm that all 8 registered lines will ring simultaneously in a huntgroup and that there is no Base Station limitation on handling 8 simultaneous "Inbound" calls.

Poly C60 Rebooting on startup

We have 4 C60's and 3 of them keep rebooting on startup not allowing any config. Not able to factory reset.

Any one seen this before ?

CCX600 Wizard - Generic Profile

We are building out the provisioning template for the CCX600 for "open SIPs"

 

hone Model CCX 600 Part Number 3111-49770-001 Rev:A UC Software Version 6.2.11.0280 Updater Signature Release

We have the following set -

device.set="1" device.baseProfile.set="1" device.baseProfile="Generic" device.eulaAccepted.set="1" device.eulaAccepted="1" prov.eula.accepted="1"

 It does not ask for eula -

But it still asks to confirm timezone, and as well to confirm Generic, and maybe one other question....

Docs..  doesnt appear to have any details on disabling and presetting the values of the wizard.

 

The lync docs as well do not ..

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

VVX301/VVX501: How to retain IP/vlan info on link flaps or power off/on

Hi Team

 

I have VVX 301 and VVX 501 polycom phones in my network. I am using option 144 to send the vlan information. 

 

option polycom_vlan code 144 = text;

option polycom_server code 160 = text;

Is there any way I can force the phones to remember the vlan and ip address info it got before?  Every time the link flaps or phone reboots, phone starts with an untagged DHCP Discover message. 

 

CDP/LLDP are not enabled on the switchport to which phone is connected. 

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 

 

FusionPBX autoconfigure and VVX 230

Hello,

 

We are using a FusionPBX and have it set up to autoconfigure/provision phones.  It works fine with the VVX 500 phones we have.

 

We just purhased two VVX 230 handsets and cannot figure out how to set it up to autoconfigure.  I am assuming i don't want to use obitalk, etc.  I just want to put in the location of the provision file (pbxname/app/provision/ and the PW and have it do the rest. 


Any help/suggestion is appreciated.

Trio 8500 Daisy Chain

Hi all,

Currently i trying to Daisy chain 3 trio 8500. 1 hub and 2 device.

Able to pair successfully but after pairing . when the Hub adjust the volume, the 2 device trio is able to adjust the volume according. But when i go the the device trio to adjust the volume, i cant adjust the volume from the '+" and "-" on the device trio. Any setting i miss out ?
