vvx250 transfer issues

Hi

i have 4 vvx250 each with extensions 101,102,103,104

if i transfer an outside call to another extension using a programed extension on the phone it transfers no problem.

But if i try to transfer an outside call by dialing 102 the call fails internal calls work fine

ive tried changing transfer type to blind that makes it worse.

any help would be much appreciated


Can not access web configuration on Soundpoint 501

Hello,

I have a Soundpoint 501 with SIP 3.1.8

The phone can read configuration from the FTP but I cannot access the web configuration from some reason.

I try to login as Admin with the default password 456 and I get 401 Unauthorized

I'm having an issue where calls from numbers not in the Contact directory have the "Ringback-style" ring tone. I do not want it to have a different ring tone I would like it to have the default ringtone I am currently on firmware version 6.1.2.1127. So if anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

Trio 8800 how to configure ssl on webserver

I want to install a ssl certificate on the web server. I already installed the certificate CA (Platform CA 1) and the device certificate (Platform Credential 1) on the device. What I have to configure, that the web browser will use my uploaded certificate? At the moment the polycom use the ssl selfsign certificate from polycom.

VVX Phoen DHCP NTP Option 4 or 42

I am trying to setup our DHCP server with the correct options and have run into an issue with the VVX 250 and VVX450 phone not applying the NTP option from the DHCP server. I have both option 4 and option 42 set.

Option 4 is Time Server

Option 42 are NTP Servers

The only non standard DHCP option set is 144 for VLAN assignment.

 

I searched the KB but only found one reference.

KB Article 11393 

This article states that it is not supported because "No, There is a standard DHCP option for this purpose." 

 

Options 4 and 42 are part of the RFC-2132 standard Option 42 is in section 8.3 (1997)

 

I also found this admin guide vvx-obi-admin-6-4-1 that shows option 42 is supported.

 

What do I need to do to get NTP configured on DHCP server recognized by the VVX phone?

Issue with VVX 410

I have a VVX410 that will not boot.  I am not familiar with these phones at all.  We are changing providers and needed to change the firmware version.  I have been doing this through the web interface.  I have one phone that something must of happened during the upgrade because I keep getting an error and the phone reboots.  I have googled the issue for two days now and have not been able to get a workable solution.  I am pretty sure reinstalling a different version of the software will fix the issue.  I need to do it from the phone interface though.  I found a few posts indicating that is how to fix it but I have not found an actual reference to server address that will work.   Can someone please either give me a clear set of steps on how to install a new version of the software for my phone with the actual link to use.

Running into a Line Ordering issue with SoundPoint IP 650 running 4.0.11.0583

 

I have 1 line and 17 Speed dials (mapped to EFK).

Speed Dials are labeled:

1 , 2, 3, --> 10, SEC1 , SEC2 , SEC3,SEC4 , Lvl1 , Lvl2 ,Lvl3

I did read through this  FAQ

 

I am trying to show them in this order (Starting from Line Key 2):

1 , 2, 3, --> 10, SEC1 , SEC2 , SEC3,SEC4, , L1 , L2 ,L3

They always show up in this order:

 

1, 10, Sec1,Sec2,Sec3,Sec4,L1,L2,L3,L4,2 ,3 --> 9

CCX 600 Teams and SIP

I just received my CCX 600 and I bought it so that I could have Teams and a regular SIP trunk on the phone but I cannot seem to add any buttons to the phone. Is it possible to add SIP trunks or extensions to co-exist with Teams?

vvx 150 doesnt dial automaticaly

The problem i have is if i leave the default digitmap in place when off hook after dialing a number the call connects no problem but if i try to transfer a call to another ext the transfer fails.

[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxT|**x.T|+x.T

If i delete the digitmap i have to push send for the call to connect but the transfer works fine when digitmap empty.

CCX 500 Teams and SIP

I was installing a couple of CCX 500 and I would like to have Teams and a regular SIP trunk on the phone. I cannot find how to configure the phone for this and have received mixed answers on if it is supported from Poly via the telephone. Does anyone have the definitive answer?

Hello! Please help configure srtp between Polycom VVX 400 (version 5.9.6.2327) and FreePBX (version 15). My torment has been going on for 2 weeks. SIP TLS registration is successful. The call and conversation without encryption is successful, when srtp is turned on, nothing works. Polycom Trio and Zoom Configruation

Hi

I have a Polycom Trio 8800 on 5.9.2.7727. This is an audio only Trio, no camera is currently connected.

 

The Polycom Trio is in Skype for Business mode and i am adding a secondary line for Zoom. I have imported the Zoom-Unregistered-L2.CFG config as outlined here: https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/FAQ-Add-Zoom-interoperability-to-the-Polycom-Trio/td-p/95278

 

The config imports successfully and the icon appears on the screen. When i tap the Zoom icon it shows meeting@zoomcrc.com, which quickly changes to just meeting, i then get a busy tone and the call hangs up.

 

I have increased logging on the phone and i can see the original INVITE going from the Trio to sip:meeting@zoomcrc.com. I then see a 180 RINGING i then see a 480 Temporarily Unavailable

 

We have successfully setup BlueJeans in the same fashion and this works as expected. The call dials out and i get prompted to enter a meeting ID.

 

Has anyone else encountered any issues setting these devices up with Zoom?

Polycom Trio USB Passthrough not working

Hi

 

I am trying to get USB passthrough working on a Polycom Trio but im encountering an issue where the Poly Trio Pass-through app gets stuck connecting to Trio.

 

The Trio is running the latest firmware - Poly_UC_Software_5_9_3_7982_AA_Trio8800

The software installed on the Windows 10 laptop is 1.0.0.0067 

 

I have followed the guide here: https://knowledgebase-iframe.polycom.com/kb/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=41117&sliceId=1&cmd=&kcId=41117&ViewedDocsListHelper=com.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl and imported the cfg files but this hasnt resolved the issue. I have checked the firewall and i can see that the entries have been added, i have also fully disabled the firewall as a test but the issue persists.

 

The logs on the Trios dont give much info - just a lot of the below:

Licence requirements for Zoom on Polycom 8800 - hybrid mode

Hello,

I am considering setting up a Polycom 8800 and Visual+ collaboration kit in hybrid mode with Zoom on line 2.

 

Polycom Trio 8800
Software: 5.9.3.7982
Part number: 3111-65290-001 Rev:A
MAC address: 64:16:7F:29:BA:48

 

In order to use Zoom as an unregistered client in the Polycom supported hybrid mode, is it necessary to have a Zoom Conference Room Connector software licence?

The information on the official and unofficial forums appears to differ on this.


As a follow-up, assuming I have a Zoom CRC licence, will the kit be able to connect to a meeting hosted by a third party if that party does not have a CRC licence?

we changed service providers and this issue has creeped up.  New vendor is looking into it. with no definitive timeline.  

I need a workaround to disable the PA.   I am on conference calls with speakerphone on and its very embarrassing to have the PA audio go thru my calls.

Sectigo root and chain support

Hi,

 

our Addtrust/Usertrust certificate chain is changed in Sectigo. Sectigo is not a trusted root CA in a Polycom VVX phone. I've tested it with a Softwareversion UC 5.9.6.2327 but connecting to a Skype for Business environment is not possible anymore. I know I can upload the chain, but we have multiple customers with lots of phones. For now we will replace our certificate with a supported chain. Do you know if Sectigo will be added as a trusted CA?

IP7000: Error no application is present

Whe changes telephone supplier and whant to use the IP7000 further. After plug-in the network cable (PoE) the device make an autoboot and coming up with "Error, application is not present" and make an autoboot again (running in a loop).

What's the reason for that? Is the phone damaged?

I am struggling with Spectralink-SL_8441-UA/5.6.3.1192 as in calls are getting dropped in 32 seconds and i can see BYE sent by Spectralink phone(integrated with Avaya Aura 7.x)
