Sip IP 6000 First call fails, subsequent calls ok

Hardware Avaya Session Manager 6.0, Avaya Aura CM 6.0.

IP6000 version 4.0.4.2906.

Phone is in a meeting room. After a period of time or first external outbound call of the day the call will fail with 404 not found (no route available) and 401 unauthorised register 403 authorisation failure.

Subsequent calls are ok.

Could this be a power saving setting or a keep alive timer on the IP6000?

Any advice welcome.
