Trio 8800 Rest API restart failing
Good evening
We're having an odd issue with restarting Trio 8800s using Enoten UDM Pro and also via the Rest API.
We can restart the devices from the web interface, but any attempt to restart via the rest API (which UDM Pro uses) fails with a 404 error.
If we try to restart via powershell, we get a similar error.
The admin password has been changed from the default, and the devices are running firmware version 5.9.0.11421.
Has anyone come across this, or can suggest a solution?
For info, powershell that gives the 404 error:
-------

'Meet Now' functionality with Teams
Hi there,
Just wondering if there is a way to set up my Trio 8800 to use the 'Meet Now' button with the RealConnect service for Teams. Currently, I have 3 lines:
Line 1: SfB
Line 2: Teams/RealConnect
Line 3: SIP connection to our on-premises PBX
Whenever I hit 'Meet Now', the call defaults to using SfB to make a call but as our org is going to be moving to a 'Teams Only' org, is there a way to change the Meet Now functionality to use the RealConnect service for Teams instead?
Thanks!

Soundstation IP 6000 - support for colorblind
Hello,
Does anyone know how to change the mute indicator on the SoundStation IP6000? I have a colorblind user that can't differentiate between the talk and mute indicator light. I'd like to change the mute indicator to a flashing pattern, if that's possible. if not, I'm open to ideas.
Thanks, everyone.
VX410, After adding line key, I cannot edit/remove them
I log onto my phone through a web broswer using the phone's IP.
I use the "add line key funtion" and add a contact.
It shows up on my phone, however I cannot go back to edit those line keys. I cannot delete any of them. Move them up or down. They are stuck there. I attached a picture to show you.
If I hold the line key button on the phone, it doesn't do anything.
However, if I added a line key through the phone and not the IP address page, I can delete them.
The ones added through IP address have a blue icon on the phone, the ones added through the phone just have a black/white icon.
Any help is greatly apperciated.

VVX 400: reposition lines
On my Cisco SPA525G2 I define extensions. These are the polycom lines. On the Cisco phone I have a page for easily assigning position of these. How do I rearrange the positions of the lines?
Say I have
button 1: line 1
button 2: line 2
button 3: line 3
button 4: line 4
How do I move line 4 to button 1, and line 1 to button 5?
VVX 4**: increase font size of line labels
Some people here cannot read the line labels complaining of smallness. Biggerness would be preferred. How can I double the font face size?
I understand this would sacrafice correspondance to buttons. I would be ok using every other or every third line if I could increase the label size.

rudimentary provisioning server? how to have persistent ringtones
I would like my custom WAV ringtones to be persistent. I do not need all the bells and whizbang of a Provisioning Server. Other than uploading my ringtones over and over again what minimal setup would I need to achieve this simple objective?
Use case: 2 vvx 400 using SIP to connect to 'cloud' IP PBX. I do not have a PBX in my house.
phone web UI for line status?
On my Cisco SPA525G2 there is a page showing the registration status of all my lines. Without physically looking at the VVX 400 how can I see the registration status of its lines?

Polycom Soundstation Duo Web Interface displays ????
I have a recurring issue that when I connect to one of my Polycom Soundstation Duo's though an IP address I get ???? for all the menus on the page. They seem clickable, and drop down, but only display more ????. When I try to go though and make the selection to reboot the Duo (since I know where on the menu it resides), it does not work.
The only way to resolve it, is by physically rebooting the Polycom SS Duo by power cycling. Then, when I access the web gui again, my menus show up properly.
I have 126 out of 200 Polycoms that I physically rebooted last week and was able to see the interface menus. Today. A small amount are displaying ???? again.
What is causing this? How do I fix this permanently? The firmware being used doesn't seem to matter as they are all on different versions. No indication its happening on just certain firmwares.
No, I do not have a provisioning server set up in our environment, yet.
I update the firmware manually through Polycom's Web Provisioning site before rolling out the phone to production.
The firmware I have in use range from 4.0.0.27587, 4.0.2.8017 to 4.0.13.1445, 4.0.14.0987 and a few of them use 4.1.1.0731
We do not use Skype. They are connected to my Avaya Aura Communication Manager.
VVX 501 phones - work with Google Voice?
Can VVX 501 and 601 phones be used with Google Voice, perhaps after updating firmware/software?
Currently have 20 VVX 50x and a couple 60x phones and wondered if that was a realistic option or not.
VVX 300 Fails on last 512 Bytes of Provisioning
Hello,
I've got a VVX 300, MAC: 64167F98A946 that we've formatted the file system on. It's currently at version 5.9.7. We use Polycom phones with Jive.
The phone doesn't boot, providing 'Application not Found'. I've turned my laptop into a TFTP server that the phone can connect to and download its goodies from, but while it downloads 3111-46161-001.sip.ld, it fails on the last 512 bytes.
Here's the bootlogs:

Contact Directory is Out of Order in All Instances VVX 601
I am the admin of our PBX, which I use to provision our phones through Jive. For the last several months, contact directory on each phone doesn't show contacts in alphabetical order, whether by first or last name, it seems to be entirely at random.
List of fixes tried:
• Reset phone to base firmware and reprovisioned
• Reprovisioned through GUI using IP address
• Reprovisioned manually on the phone screen using Jive provisioning servers
• Reprovisioned manually on the phone screen using Polycom provisioning servers to reset firmware
• Removed custom device configuration and reprovisioned
• Rolled up firmware
• Rolled back firmware
• Checked box for automatic directory filling and resynced
• Unchecked box for automatic directory filling and resynced
• Tried different phones of the same model
Please help me if you're able or have experienced a similar issue, thank you,

Soundpoint IP 7000 Formatted and cannot download cfg file
I file formatted my IP 7000 and cannot get it to FTP into my computer properly to download it's own files for it to repair itself. I cannot access the device from the web server. I setup an FTP and got it to at least attempt to connect on port 80 but the following are the logs I get. I can connect to my FTP server from another device and download anything in the directory which contains the phones own files from the polycom site.

Upgrade SoundPoint IP 335
I have a bunch of old PolyCom Sound Point IP 335 that I inherited from past employees that have left, they NEVER upgraded or patched them.
I am not familar to PolyCom phones how can I upgrade to the newer 4.0.x versions?
SIP Software Version 3.3.5.0247
BootROM Software Version 4.3.1.0440
I have built a TFTP server and I upgraded SIP Software Version 3.3.3.0069 to 3.3.5.0247, but when I try to get to a 4.0.x it states "Image incompatiable". I understand that this is most likely a BootRom issue but how can I fix this? Or can it even be upgraded? All the files are so complicated
Disable BLF blink on "Early/Alerting"
Hi all,
Any Paramater that can be sent to "disable" the BLF blink when a monitored extension is in a "Early/Alerting" (ring) state?
The user wants just simple Red when the montitored extension is on the phone and Green when its idle.
Thanks!
Programming Speed Dials on a line key through a config file
Hello,
I'm currently using a VVX*50 set of phones running 6.0 firmware on the broadworks platform. I have to deploy a hefty number of phones that all require the same speed dial mapping. I planned on doing this within a config file that's pushed to the endpoints. However I am at a loss on how to get these programmed speed dials to appear on the line keys of the phones (350s/450s mostly).
I need to dial, say extention 10110 by just pressing the associated line key.
do you have what would the line config look like in this scenario?
Thanks!
Dan
VVX D230 - RPRM Management
The organization that I work for is primarily a Skype for Business environment utilizing Poylcom VVX 311 endpoints managed centrally with RealPresence Resource Manager. We now have a need for cordless handsets and as the options for Skype for Business cordless handsets is somewhat limited, we are looking at SIP-based options.
I am unable to find any documentation stating whether or not the VVX D230 is able to be managed by RealPresence Resource Manager; is this feature currently available or planned for a future release?
