Has anyone experience in setting up the IP 7000 Soundstation to access the Corporate Directory from Kerio Connect through LDAP?

I managed to provision the phone properly to the latest boot and firmware releases, it works fine as a SIP phone, but I miss the Corporate Directory. Kerio mention that they do not support Polycom, but as often it does not mean that it does not work...

Any positive experience?

I have a Polycom Trio 8800. Network was working fine until I provisioned firmware from Zoom.us for the Zoom Room Controller:

Now PoE powers the device but Ethernet is set to inactive. Here is a snippet from the log file.

I can't get support from Ingram Micro as I purchased from the 3rd party and they didn't purchase support?

I have reset the config, reset to factory, formatted the storage, loaded various firmwares from USB drive. Even uploaded a .pbu backup file with the line: device.net.enabled="1" (it was set to 0 when I did a backup). Setting a static IP, DHCP, this thing's Ethernet IS DEAD!

I have several Polycom VVX 601 phones with Skype for Business. Users have connected Jabra 930 (Certified Skype ) USB headsets to the Polycom phone and I can say that they are working fine with one exception from time to time and this is randomly when pressing the Jabra headset button doesn't pick-up/hang-up the call just switches between headset and speakerphone.

For example when a call comes in and they press on Jabra headset button to answer the call, then this button instead of picking up the call he is switching between headset and speakerphone.

I've read to see if I find something similar to my case but I do not see anything, so I opened a new post. I am trying to register a polycom trio 8800 in CUCM 11.5 but I do not succeed, I already create the security profile, the user and the extension in the CUCM and I already put the data in the plycom and nothing. The polycom gives tone but it is not registered in the CUCM, the same I can not mark extensions. I already read the FAQ to see and I do not see anything either. the extension comes out with an "X" as seen in the image

In the call list of the VVX301 screen, It shows sip:6921@5.0.0.83 as the calling party, rather than just 6921 as the caller.

I wish only 6921 shows in call lists screen, not sip url, how can I do? Thanks.

We are experiencing a strange issue where we've had a Polycom VVX 311 phone reaching out to websites that an end user has navigated to on their PC. Our PC's are daisy chained to the phones and we operate on Cisco switch with regular access VLANs and voice VLANs. In our firewall logs we see an end user with an workstation VLAN origin IP reaching out to a website, then later in the firewall logs (over the course of a few days) we see random connections from the Polycom device IP (on the voice VLAN) reaching out to the same website on port 80 followed by port 443.

Our users do not use the BToE application.

I am having problems with my phone being able to connect to network. I have tried multiple connections (one cable another fiber) with same results. I am mainly using the cable network.

This is an example line from log:

Failed to receive response from WebConfigURL (https://bootstrap.pinauth.services.skypeforbusiness.com:443,Default)

However, using the same network, in a browser, I can connect to this URL fine. Testing locally on my machine, interestingly though, curl will fail making this request. I have tried turning the firewall totally off on the router with same result.

Is there something wrong in this firmware version?!

Poly VVX and Trio phone support differentiated services code point (DSCP)

VIa the Web Interface Settings > Network > QoS the Audio RTP, Video RTP or the Call Control can be set for the IP DSCP.

Configuration File via Provisioning Server:

<test 		qos.ip.callControl.dscp="24"
		qos.ip.rtp.dscp="46"
		qos.ip.rtp.video.dscp="34"/>

Troubleshooting:

Verify this using Wireshark with the following example filter:

(ip.dsfield.dscp == 24) || (ip.dsfield.dscp == 46) || (ip.dsfield.dscp == 34)

Skype for Business:

Utilizing a Skype for Business server the value can be inbound provisioned via the Skype server. A partial backup looks like this:

<CALL_SERVER
		...
		lync.qos.dscpVoice="46"
...	/>

I have been setting up Polycom XXV500 phones for 5 years. The phones I ordered recently are XXV501 model. I set them up as usual and a symbol I haven't seen before is displaying on the phone screen. The phones seem to work phone with incoming and outgoing calls but this symbol is driving me nuts. I have attached a screen sgot, can someone please tell me how to get rid of the symbol from the screen.

I have a VVX450, firmware 5.9.1 (latest as of this post). I am looking to do a 4-way conference.

- I have feature.nWayConference.enabled="1"

- When I join the first two participants, I do have a "manage" button to mute participants (if I understand correctly, it means nWay is indeed enabled.

I just don't know how to add a third one. I do not get the "conf" option anymore at that point. What's the exact key sequence to add a fourth participant?

I have Polycom phone and i checked that HTTPS enbaled in Polycom phone But not able to take web access the polycom phone so need your help to fix the issue. This is recently we bought phone for our one of the location.

We have a conference room composed of a Polycom Trio 8800, a Polycom Trio Visual+ and a camera Polycom EagleEye Mini.

Everything was working like a charm until the last couple of days.

The issue we are currently facing is about the EagleEye Mini camera. When I plug the camera on one of the USB port of the Visual+, the image captured by the camera appears for only 1 second at the screen and then it suddenly stops and a black screen appears instead. When I try to unplug/replug the camera on the same port or even another one, the same behavior occurs.

I tried to reboot the Trio, it didn't solve the problem. I also tried to connect the camera on my laptop to check if I was facing the same issue. On my computer, there is absolutely no problem with the camera, everything works well. This makes me think that the problem may not be hardware.

Have someone ever faced the same issue?

For information, the UC software version of our Trio is 5.8.0.15024
